Susan Hoppenworth’s “9/11 Quilts” are on exhibit at the Dubuque Museum of Art in Dubuque, Iowa, now through November 6, 2011. As part of a commemorative tenth anniversary exhibition, Susan Hoppenworth’s artwork, created in response to her experiences volunteering as a mental health counselor in New York City after the 9/11 attacks, are showing.

SAQA, Studio Art Quilt Association is holding its annual online benefit auction of art quilts that are made by fiber artists, who have donated their work to the auction, which begins on September 12 at 2PM and goes through October 2, 2011, until 2PM. The quilts are 12″ squares in size unless otherwise labeled.
