Jane Dunnewold has additional info that was to be included in her “Art Cloth” book, but was not because her manuscript was long and the section on resist and discharge was not included. She has graciously offered it to us at: http://www.artclothstudios.com/tutorials.php
The additional tutorial is: Resist and Discharge. You are invited to use any of the material on her page for your own purposes, she said.
Jane has also included a quick reference chart, “Resist Discharge Chart.”

There is a tutorial called “Simple Batik Tutorial” on Beth Bermen’s blog: http://sewsewart.blogspot.com/2010/11/simple-batik-tutorial.html
Looks like it would be helpful to those who want to try batik.
